Interns are responsible for their own living expenses. CWA can recommend several resources in and around the city. However, CWA does not provide housing. It is wise to look into your options early in order to be prepared for living costs and housing application deadlines. We recommend exploring your options at the time of application or soon thereafter. Click here for a comprehensive list of housing resources.
Interns are responsible for their own transportation to and from CWA’s national office each day. CWA’s headquarters is located in Alexandria, Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C., and is within walking distance of the Braddock Road Metro stop. We also have a few free parking spots at our headquarters that will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Carpooling with other CWA interns is also an option.
